What data we collect and why
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location (city level). GA4 uses cookies to distinguish between visits. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. Data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with their privacy policy.
Enquiry forms and WhatsApp
When you submit an enquiry through our website contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to marketing lists without your explicit consent. Form submissions are processed by Formspree.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, your message is processed by Meta Platforms Inc. in accordance with WhatsApp's privacy policy.
Scrap metal transactions
Under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, we are legally required to verify the identity of every person who sells scrap metal to us, and to keep records of all transactions. We collect and retain your name, address, and identity document details (driving licence or passport number). These records are kept for a minimum of three years and may be disclosed to the police or other authorities on request. This processing is a legal obligation and cannot be opted out of.
